What is an MCP connector and what will it really do for me?
An MCP connector is a secure link between your e-shop and the AI assistant you already use — ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini. Instead of clicking around the admin, you type a sentence: “raise prices in the Accessories category by 8%”, “write descriptions for the 40 new products”, “which orders haven't shipped yet”. It saves hours every week, especially on bulk edits, product copy and reporting. We deliver the connector with every e-shop we build.
How much does an e-shop cost?
If you want to start without a large upfront investment, an e-shop on the monthly Basic package costs from €50 a month including hosting and updates. Your own e-shop with custom design, PWA and an MCP connector starts at €3,900 excl. VAT (Štart package). The extended version with a loyalty program, feeds and accounting integration starts at €6,900. Solutions with configurators, a B2B portal or ERP integration are priced individually. We can deliver an e-shop on Shopify or Shoptet from €2,000. You'll get an exact price within 48 hours after a short consultation.
Do I own the e-shop or just rent it?
Your choice. In the monthly model, you pay for using the e-shop including hosting, updates and support — a good fit if you don't want to invest all at once. In the second model, you buy the e-shop out in a one-time payment and it's yours for good, with no monthly platform fees. In both cases, products, orders and customers are your data and you can export them at any time. You can switch from the monthly model to a buyout at any time.
Does the e-shop have an API for further integrations and AI add-ons?
Yes, the e-shop has a complete API to all its data — products, categories, inventory, orders, customers and page content. The MCP connector is built on it, and you can build any further AI implementation on it later: your own agent, a chatbot for your product range, dynamic pricing or a connection to your internal system. You're not locked into what the e-shop can do today.
How long does it take to launch an e-shop?
Because we build on a ready-made, debugged core that we rebrand for you, we usually launch an e-shop on the Štart package within 4–6 weeks. Larger projects with configurators, B2B logic or data migration from an existing e-shop take 8–12 weeks. We give you the exact timeline together with the price, not halfway through the project.
Custom e-shop, Shopify or Shoptet — which should I choose?
Shoptet is the fastest start in Slovakia and makes sense for a simple product range and a small budget. Shopify is strong for international sales. A custom e-shop pays off when you need unique features, a configurator, B2B pricing or a connection to your system — and when you don't want to pay monthly platform fees forever. We advise based on your product range and plans, not on what's easier for us to sell.
Will you migrate my existing e-shop with its data?
Yes. We migrate products, categories, customers and order history from Shoptet, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Shopify and older custom solutions. We also set up redirects for old URLs so you don't lose your search rankings — that's the most common and most expensive mistake in a migration.
Which payment, shipping and accounting systems do you connect?
Payments: TrustPay, GoPay, Stripe, PayPal, Tatra banka CardPay, cash on delivery, bank transfer and payment on invoice. Shipping: Packeta, GLS, DPD, Slovenská pošta, courier, pickup points; we also handle fragile, refrigerated and bulky goods. Invoicing and accounting: SuperFaktúra, iDoklad, Pohoda, Money S3. If you use something else and it has an API, we'll connect it.
What happens after launch — who manages the e-shop?
The e-shop is yours — you manage it yourself through the admin or the AI connector, and we'll train you. We also offer ongoing maintenance, hosting with backups and feature development. We usually handle routine edits within 48 hours. If you want, we'll also take over performance marketing — Google Ads and Meta Ads management from €300 a month.
Is the e-shop compliant with Slovak legislation?
Yes. The e-shop automatically tracks and displays the lowest price over the last 30 days for discounts, has a cookie banner with consent mode, GDPR settings, and template terms and conditions and a complaints policy. We recommend having your lawyer review the legal texts — we'll prepare a draft they only need to fine-tune.
