Heart of Slovakia – back office

The property runs without a reception desk – guests need to get into their room on their own. The client needed door access to be prepared automatically after an order, sent to the guest and securely revoked after use, and the staff needed to see the status of the locks in one place.

We built a standalone back office connected to the public website via a REST API.

• Orders from the website flow into the system via the API, including company billing details
• Rooms with multiple locks – once a room is assigned, a PIN is generated, set on all of the room's locks and emailed to the guest automatically
• The one-time code is valid only on the day of the booking and revokes itself after first use (usage checked via cron)
• Live lock overview: status, battery, opening history, remote unlocking and locking
• Monthly overview of orders and revenue
• Roles and permissions, mandatory two-factor sign-in, audit log and custom API tokens with documentation

Guest arrival works without handing over keys in person – from order to opening the door, the process is automatic and the staff keep it under control from one place.
